I'm Zhi Rong, currently a product manager at TikTok, working on security and ecommerce fraud. Previously, I was a product manager in ShopBack, working on user growth and content platform.
In my past career, I was a senior policy officer in the Singapore Civil Service, focusing on digital technology policies. During my tenure in the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Digital Development and Information, I worked on industry and manpower policies for the tech and media sector; strengthened data analytics capabilities for my organisations; and drafted the legislative policies and operational framework for the Health Information Bill, enabling seamless and secure data sharing across Singapore's healthcare ecosystem.
I graduated from the University of Chicago with a MS in Statistics and BS in Mathematics.
In my spare time, I immerse myself in science fiction shows and novels, travel around the world, and take pictures as I travel.
